Define User Parameters

  1. In the Define Geology > Models tab, click the User parameters tab.
  2. In the User parameters data grid, click Insert.
  3. A first row is added to the data grid.

  4. In the new row, type the value for each column.
  5. To create rows for other user parameters:
    • Repeat steps one and two.
    • In the User parameters data grid, click in the row you want to copy, and then click Create copy.
    • A new row is added beneath the existing rows. The new row has identical values to the copied row for each column, except the Name. The Name for the new row is the Name of the copied row with _1 appended. If you have copied the row previously, and <Name>_1 exists in the data grid, the name for the new row appends the next incremental unused integer. For example, if MINING_COST_PER_TONNE_1 and MINING_COST_PER_TONNE_2 exist, the new row has the Name MINING_COST_PER_TONNE_3.

    • In the User parameters data grid, right-click in the row you want to copy, to display the shortcut menu, and click Copy.

    • In the User parameters data grid, click the field at the last column of the last row, and then press TAB.
    • A new row is added beneath the existing rows. The new row is blank, except the Name field. The default name given to the new user parameter is user_1. If you have already added a blank row, which has the name user_1, the next row added increments the number by one, so that the new row has the name user_2.
